| Shredding Rights is an action investigating the transformation of The Bureaucracy into an embodiment of Individual Rights. It is a questioning of the ideals that formed the original Charter of Human Rights on 10th December, 1948, just after the second world war. The Charter assumed that all people have individual rights beyond their religious or cultural belief systems. Can poltical rights be universal, can they apply across all people and belief systems? What are the definitions of the 'Human'? How can these ideas be brought into a single act, the destruction of the written word and the liberation of form. | ||||||||
